Malts & Rye: Pale Ale Malt, Flaked Barley, Roast Barley, Torrified Wheat, Rye Malt, Oat Malt and Chocolate Malt
Hops: Galena and Centennial (US) leaf hops in the kettle and then dry hopped with Galena, Centennial and Sorachi Ace hop pellets in the fermenter
Appearance: A dark stout with a cinder toffee-coloured head
Taste: Brewed with 4 malts, flaked & roast barley and torrified wheat along with 5 hops to produce this rich and luxuriant, wood barrel-aged, imperial milk stout. Late additions of homemade Cinder Toffee to the kettle, fermenter and the whiskey wood barrels provides a beautifully balanced imperial stout with chocolate malt bitterness balanced with the molasses sweetness of the cinder toffee. A very special beer.

This beer was brewed by Brinkburn St in collaboration with the Bigg Market brewery using Marlish water direct from the Northumberland hills. Marlish water lands as rain in the Cheviots and is then filtered through rock and strata over 150 years to acquire its pure quality and fine taste.
This beer can be stored for up to 10 years, during which time it will mellow and mature with age, if you can wait that long.
