This Saturday 6th April Rapper dancing comes “home” to the North East. 25 teams from as far as Bristol and Edinburgh will perform in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley during the day, culminating in an evening gala performance in the magnificent Tyne Theatre & Opera House.

Brinkburn St Brewery Bar and Kitchen are chuffed to bits to be one of the dancing venues along with The Cluny The Free Trade Inn The Old Coal Yard & The Cumberland Arms Bed & Breakfast

Five Ouseburn pubs will play host to more than 20 teams from around the country, each hoping to be crowned the finest. Rapper dancing involves five dancers using sprung-steel swords and is a tradition from the coal mining communities of Northumberland and Durham.

·       Bratwurst Sausage with Quayside Blonde Ketchup and Ford St IPA Mustard with Sauerkraut -£7

·       ‘DERTy’ Fries – Potato Fries with Clandestine Beef Chilli, Cheese, Sour Cream & Pickled Onions - £5

·       Plain Fries - £3

·       Hassleback Potatoes £3
